1. Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Senior Accountant

Al Barkat Golden is inviting applications for the position of Senior Accountant to support and manage accounting operations across our contracting and service activities, in line with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, customer accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget utilization.
  • Assist in payroll processing, employee settlements, and related financial documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, contracts, and payment records.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, clients, and internal departments when required.
  • Support VAT/tax-related documentation and compliance requirements, where applicable.
  • Review and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and proper approvals.
  • Assist management in financial analysis, cost control, and reporting for contracting and service operations.
 

 Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Kuwait and within contracting, trading, or service operations.
  • Professional qualification such as CA / CMA is preferred.
  • Fully versed in accounting software and ERP systems, especially Odoo ERP and Tally.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll, petty cash, and general ledger accounting.
  • Good understanding of Kuwait accounting practices, audit requirements, payroll documentation, indemnity, leave salary, and final settlement procedures.
  • Ability to prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and time management.
  • Good communication skills in English. Arabic knowledge will be an added advantage.

3. Electrical Technician
